Beach Head
UPC: 653569259831 Product Number: 63463 Assortment Number: 63403 File name: Sneeden, Wayne R. Primary Military Specialty: Infantry Second Specialty: Small Arms Armorer Birthplace: Auburn, Alabama Grade: E-6 BEACHHEAD was a Lane instructor at the Ranger School in Fort Benning and an Observer/Advisor at the Covert Ops School in Central America. He's meticulous, patient, and strong-willed. He likes getting up at 0600 hours to take a ten-mile run and PT (physical training) session before breakfast. He enjoys squatting motionless beside a jungle trail for three days straight waiting to ambush bad guys who might never show up. What he hates are people who aren't interested in doing their best. I really never cared for Beachead back in the day, but so far Mr. Sneeden (seriously?!?) is far and away my favorite 25th Joe.

A very solid figure. Just wish his legs were a little shorter. Not because he towers over other figures... but because he is a bit out of proportion. Same with Firefly.
I dunno who's sculpting the 25th stuff, but many figures have legs that are too long. On some it doesn't matter, on others it does. Say, another one suffering from this syndrome is Cobra Commander. Boy... are those legs not long and thin? Otherwise, an AMAZING figure.

I was REALLY happy with this figure. Great detail, great accessories...My only complaint was he was leaning off to one side and made standing look awkward. It wasn't untill I had gotten a second on order through BBTS and began customising the first into a shockwave that I had found out the waist peg somehow slipped and gave him that weird spinal curvature. Same thing with LJ and FF, but once I realised all I had to do was play chiropracter, they are all fine now.
And Shockwave looks badass. Took a tac vest from the BBI Blackhawk, and my extra Gung Ho's hat (with a little trimming) slapped some Games Workshop Ultramarine and Ice blue, with some Snot green and Bad Moon yellow urban camo stripes...Once I get a cam, I'll post pics. I'm also glad they aren't going ape$hit with reusing this mold time and time again. A few is understandable.... |

I was very surprised to see this guy peg warming in a few places (as I was with Firefly earlier in the year). I agree that he is bad-ass, and is amongst the best 25th Joes around.
