Wow, I am always amazed at some of the awesome collections!
I'm one of the lucky ones to have a Joe room. One of the best things I find in having a Joe room is customizing the room with shelves. I am big into creating shelves that add to my toys and room, not just to have something to stand the figures on. While my collection really pales in comparison to all of these, here are a couple of shelves I have built. I know, they may be pretty cheesy to some, but it gives me a creative outlet, I suppose. And a different way to show my Joes. I also have many others, such as the first seven years and themes, such as Python/TF/HISS Tanks/Cobra/Slaughter's Marauders/etc. Cheap wood, cheap spray paint, and shelve brackets work for me. |

FYI, California Closets is not only in California. I live in Washington state. I received a discount by going through Costco. You give them the specs and they build whatever your heart desires. I went from a 1400 sq ft house to an 800 sq ft condo. (thanks to the divorce) I converted my large pantry off of my kitchen to my Joe room and customized my walkin closet in my bedroom for all of my clothes and sneaker collection. Like I said, not cheap. Just under $4,000. But these are fixed to the walls and aren't going anywhere and will add to the resale value. They told me that what I did to the pantry for all of my Joes is quite unique and they never have done such an installation before.
