Hey everyone! I'm a new member but long time GI Joe Fan. Just wanted to post my ebay haul and see what you all think if I had a good deal. I live in Hawaii and have the hardest time finding the GI Joe 25th Anniversary figures. I did get the Joes 5 pack and found Snake Eyes V2, Flint, Stalker, Beach Head and Comic pack SE vs SS. So my last resort was ebay, the auction includes 3-5 packs and complete waves 1,2 and 3. Plus in my pile-o-loot from BBTS wave 5.

I went to Hawaii this summer and only saw a Kmart for any source of Transformers or GI Joes while I was there, but they didn't have really anything. That was near the airport on Maui.

Well 15 figures at $6 a piece is $90 retail. The 5 packs say they were at $30 a piece (when they first came out) is another 90. Leaving you at $180 (retail) ... Do I think you could have done better, yes. Will you save money on shipping this way though because your buying from one source in bulk, yes.
Great start to the collection tho, and welcome to the forums. -rS |
