Here is a quick Q about their (or Hasbro) cases.
When you order a case of figures, BBTS claims to repackage the Hasbro case, and ship it out. Yet they have an option for C90 cards. Have you ever ordered a standard grade case that was opened? |

I think the repackaged case means that they stick the original Hasbro box in a bigger box to ship out to you.
I've never really paid attention, but I'm pretty sure none of mine have ever been opened, rooted though and repackaged. Conditions of standard cases would be luck of the draw, but again, mine have all been in great condition. |

Has anyone opened a case to find the cards damaged?

My wave 4 Roadblock had a bent corner, but nothing too severe, i'm sure it was like that when BBTS recieved it from Hasbro. They wrap their cases in large-bubble wrap and pack it in a larger box to protect it during shipping.

Thread just made me think of the reports of missing figures in the wave 5 cases, I'd feel bad if BBTS had the same problem

Several of my early cases had figures that were beat to hell. I think the cards were thinner in earlier waves and the boxes may have been a smidge too small. So many times the cards were warped to fit them in the box. But BBTS does not open the cases, just ships them inside another box. I highly recommend them, and Pile of Loot makes them the cheapest around for sure (mail order wise). |

c-90 is offered if you want them to send youa single figure or multiple figures picked and chosen by the bbts staff to be 90 grade and than each figure is singley packaged in plastic. i'm no fan boy or an affiliate of bbts, but there packaging by kyle or who ever it is and there quality assurance is superior to any online store absolutely, there becoming mainstream now too alot of people are begining to know who they are and use there service . not just collectors, but common folk too. if you order a case from them it is sealed, never opened straight from hasbro. i have about 50 cases of 25th from them to date. without bbts my collection of 25th would have huge holes and be virtually non existent. they are more reliable and get more stock than brianstoys...thats for sure!!!! the way they are operating should be the standard for any collectible store. period!!!!
EDIT: Your post is informative and sounds better without the name calling and rudeness Last edited by master stoner; 01-22-2008 at 10:26 AM.. |

Master Stoner,
Sorry if your stash is running low man, and it's dry in your town, but that's no real reason for name calling and insults. BBTS has been good to me too, but if someone has questions I think as a community we try to help them with answers, not insults. Nice way to introduce yourself newbie! Performula- I have always been very pleased with the shipments I have recieved from BBTS. I'm not sure how they select the "collectors grade" figures, but the regular cases I have recieved have been factory sealed and in pretty good shape. For the extra couple of bucks the "collectors grade" figures I have recieved have been carefully packaged, and in fantastic condition. |

I agree. No need for any name calling. Performula is a fine member of the community. I just got my Flash from him. Thanks Performula.
