When I visited my Uncle Tom's cabin I saw who put the bodies in the wishing well.

I'm with you guys that GI joe deserves better, but.....we have to patient at the same time. I know we love the brand like it was our only child but to be honest, GI joe sales weren't all that good until the 25th line started to roll out (truth hurts). I'm actually thankful for what we gotten from the 25th line. Sure repaints suck but for every repaint that we got, we equally got an awesome new sculpt of a figure we liked.
So I propose we put the pitch forks away for now and see how well the movie will do. And IF the movie is sucessful then we will more than likely see more product on the shelf as how transformer got. Patience my friends patience Thank you for saying this. I have purchased several of the Movie line figures from e-bay and they are not too bad. Just give Hasbro a chance OK. The movie is going to be here soon and there will be so much action that many new collectors will be joining us, but in the off chance it all falls apart. Have faith that Hasbro will return to making older characters in 25th form.

Pre-orders online will garuntee you the information your looking for and beat your scalpers in your lcoal area+save gas! But then again you have to sit on your ass in front of your computer 24/7 and hope you don't miss the pre-order. ROC will be most abundant, they are showing way to many figures at this point (until they start canceling stuff) for there not to be more joes in the field then ever before maybe some what close to what we used to see in 84-87 at Toysrus but maybe not so much since it will just be more overstock like Star Wars Clone Wars figures currenlty infesting most retailers...

Well, obviously. But the likelihood of walking into a store one random day and finding *surprise* some new GI Joe figure is slim to none. Knowing dates gives me a more even playing field against the people who make their living from stripping pegs of toys.
I'm kinda surprised that anyone would argue for less information. |
