Boss Fight would be able to able to make a perfect figure if Hasbro would let them go all out on it. I'm kind of surprised that we haven't seen one in a concept case to be honest.
Though even Boss Fight might have a hard time living up to Cloud Strife's version: I've always been a fan of Cobra Commander myself, just for his character and even the faceless look he had. Serpentor just seemed like he got in the way and took away a bit of the realism at the time. But even I will admit that Serpentor has the absolute best costume/uniform of any G.I. Joe character. His looks is better than most of the other villains in Marvel or DC. Now that is on killer Serpentor. Serpentors concept was originally created back in the arah season 2 to compete with he-mans new villain Hordak. Last edited by Rangeviper88; 08-01-2015 at 05:38 AM.. |

This kinda shit, is what makes G I Joe/Cobra so awesome. There are so many "favorites", because there is such a huge variety of awesome characters. Each with their own story, and personality, plus all the different factions within, and backstories.
I think its cool how we can have someone who is completely, and totally, all in for Serpentor. I think the variety is what makes this hobby so awesome. I have a friend who just collects arctic themed Joes and Cobras. He has tons of cool snow themed dioramas, but nothing else. I, for one, am a completionist, but to each his own. Naja, I too, am a Serpentor fan as well, but CC is the MAN for me at the end of the day.............COBRA |

Try to top this design of Serpentor as a figure, as if it just stood up, walked off paper and in your hand as a figure

Wow, where do I start? First, i must say his command presence (perfer comic's demeanor). I think it's genius how Hasbro came up with the concept of a cobra head helmet and having the hood as a back pack. This appearance is absolutely perfect in keeping the figure in porportion and geometrically balanced. I have always loved cobras in general and with Serpentor being a huge figure head in Gi Joe or a jo-verse, who pops out more than Serpentor! Additionally, to keep a simple answer: i love cobras! My whole collection and jo-verse is exotic and much different from other collections, as it is based off the cobra. Gi joe just happen to get caught up in the middle of this disaster zone... la naja naja

I like Serpentor a lot as we meet him in his first Comics entry. It is a perfect leader and military genius.
I hope to see a "50th anniversary" version shirtless with his revolver and other nice accessories. It was a shame we had such a stupid Serpentor (Lalalalala, etc.) in the 'toons.
