I'm sure 6" Joes are inevitable. Most likely will happen when the next Joe movie hits. The interest for movie merchandise will help sell retailers on a 6" Joe line.
Jesse Falcon doesn't work for Hasbro. I'm not sure he ever did. He works for Marvel. He wouldn't have anything to do with a 6" Joe line. |

This topic keeps coming up and from the very beginning I've said that I wouldn't collect a G.I. Joe 6" line. Now I have over a dozen Marvel Legends figure. Damn you Black Cat & Black Widow, the first two I bought.
The only reason I don't see a 6" G.I. Joe line is because of money. It all comes down to money. Star Wars sells because, well it's Star Wars, same goes for Marvel Legend figures. With Marvel it's much more cost effective because superheroes are basically all wearing spandex. With 2-3 bucks Hasbro can make hundreds of figure with those 2-3 molds. G.I. Joe on the other hand have hundreds of characters all with unique uniforms. And that would cost Hasbro way too much money making new molds for each and every character. If Hasbro were to make a 6" G.I. Joe line, I could only picture the main four that are connect to the brand name. Or they could do the original 13 Joes since the majority had similar uniforms. Any way only time will tell.

Any way only time will tell. I think we'll get them. I also think they'll also be pretty much the only "ARAH-flavored" offering that we'll get with Joe 3 product. In other words, very much "6 inch for the adult collectors, everything else for kids." But I think we'll have a better feel for whether 4" Joe is losing most of its' articulation when we see the Star Wars Episode VII product next weekend. If they still make a fully articulated 4" line for Star Wars, then fully-articulated Joe still has a chance. If they scrap it in favor of the 5POA figures and leave the 6" figures alone as the "collector offering" I think we can kiss ye olde Swivel-Arm Battle-Grip good bye. |

I think 6" joes, or a "kids oriented" line probably wont happen, especially anytime soon,
Because: Paramount is still on a epic search for a director. While the cast moves on with thier careers commiting to other movies. And Hasbro is faced with the decision of making a large investment on its own to reinvent the brand, or produce more rounds of the 50th line to buy time. |

I'm sure they want to do this scale but they want to see what the market for such a thing is. I'm down for it. I love the SW Black Series.
