You've got some nice figures there. Do you open them, or keep them carded?

Hey joefan...I just want to chime in, and I don't mean to get off-topic, but I've been checking out your G.I. Joe reviews, and I love them. I find alot of online reviewers to be asinine and/or irritating, but your reviews are very enjoyable. I look forward to viewing the rest of them!

Looking forward to it my friend...
I just pulled the trigger on a Target exclusive ROC Arashikage Cycle with Snake Eyes. He's my favorite Joe, and...say what you will about ROC itself...I typically love the character designs and tech from the movie, but I usually avoid the little mini-vehicle sets, especially the endless motorcycle figures that tend to be released with the movie lines. But I've been researching some of the lesser-known figures like these, and I stumbled across the Arashikage Cycle Snake Eyes somewhere, and I absolutely love the black torso and arms paired with the blue urban cammo look from the film. I guess I'm just a sucker for any variation of Snake Eyes, as long as it's not something that strays too far from what I think a ninja commando might look like.

Was up in Franklin TN this morning and stopped by TRU. They had one Rock rampage 3 pack just sitting there.

Hey joefan, I checked-out your 50th Anniversary Torpedo review...awesome work my friend. I will say that I'm sorry you had problems with the face-mask...I seem to remember having a little bit of difficulty putting mine on and making it fit right, but once it's in place it looks and fits perfectly. In the review it seems like the face-mask on yours fit much more loosely than mine, and that's what's causing the problem. Mine seems to fit very snugly. I also agree with your notion that this figure should have had a removable sub-mask or something...I've been thinking about trying a Retaliation Flint head on him as a mask-less version. Great review...

I've come to realize that the modern figures just don't have the same across the board quality control the vibtage line had. The same figure could be perfect for one person, but then have something off for the next person. For example, my 25th Battle Armor Cobra Commander has some crazy paint app issue going on that I haven't seen on anyone else's. You can see my review for it on my channel.

Actually, I've already seen it. (lol) I've been meaning to go look at my MOC one and see if it has the same issue yours does...
But you're right about the hit-and-miss nature of consistency in quality when it comes to modern Joes. I've had issues with some of mine that nobody else seems to have, then others are perfection for me and everyone else is complaining about something being wrong, and I'm like, "What??" (lol)
