Got this in today. Should have gotten these over the weekend, tracking shows that these were in the main "hub" for SoCal for two and a half days.

That primitive OP sold out on the first day of SDCC, I was so glad I bought one.

Here's a quick pic...I'm surprised by how much I actually love this figure. I've had one for a few years MOMC, but I kinda felt like it utilized outdated parts and looked a little gangly. And I wasn't too sure that I liked Firefly in shades of blue, so I never sought out one to open. I didn't know what I was missing!! The 25th Aniversary style body doesn't look nearly as dated as I expected or remembered, and I absolutely love how his cool accessories store away in his backpack. It's truly a sorely-underrated figure, at least he has been in my book:

I love the grey 25th firefly and he still looks good next to the newer molds. He has stood the test of time.

Yes, I agree, my friend...which reminds me that the initial 25th Anniversary Beach Head shared the same mold minus the head, and I always loved that figure, too. In fact, I think that particular figure has stood the test of time also and has held up just as well.

Agreed. The Comic Pack 25th Anniversary Firefly is a great alternative if you can't/don't already have the Retaliation 3-pack version or the 50th Anniversary version. The blue repaint is nice, but I use that as a different character. Also, by looking at the Battleground trading card image of the blue Firefly, he looks more like he has the balaclava mask, and to really match with it, using a 25th Anniversary Range-Viper head looks like a solid match without any need of repainting.
I actually have several different modern versions of Firefly...the Hall of Heroes version is one of them, and it's one of my favorites. That particular one shares the Anniversary Version 1 Snake Eyes body mold, and it suits him very well. I also have the "Ultimate" version, along with the 50th Anniversary one, too. I'm beginning to realize I'm a pretty big Firefly fan and didn't necessarily realize it. (lol)

Yeah, my only beef with that Firefly/Beach-Head sculpt is that he can't quite get into a seated position. They do hold up very well visually, though, and the core design is very nice. They tend to get some nice accessories too...
