I got mine about $100 cheaper than that on clearance at work.

Even Lanard designs better vehicles.

I'm not asking H to do huge vehicles with proper rivet lines and rotor spans, but make that damn Resolute H.I.S.S. large enough to look imposing next to the figures. Make that tired-ass H.I.S.S. I 50-60% larger and put some seperate road wheels and treads on it.

Seriously, people...why do you think there were so many previously cancelled items in 1:18th scale across a variety of manufacturers (21st Century most notably)? Because they cost too much and take up too much space to be practical for the casual consumer. The "hardcore" collector that's absolutely going to drop $200+ for a 3 1/2 - 4 foot long Skystriker is a tiny minority of the buying public. Not everyone has a spare room/garage that they can store these things in, nor the disposable income to buy in any great numbers.

Some PTE vehicles are nice, some Lanard vehicles are nice, but the 25A Vamp blows away most of them (for one example). It'd be nice if Hasbro could do more "redone" versions of some of their old standbys (The HISS and MOBAT in particular), but sales also have to justify those kinds of investments, too.
For me, I don't expect Hasbro to ever make a 1/18 scale Skystriker. I'd be content with a reissued version of the original, with more durable vertical stabilizer connections, as well as more durable landing gear doors. For 1/18, I can get the JSI, but I want both the JSI AND a skystriker reissue. |

Is that in 1:18 scale?
It's almost twice as long as the Skystriker was. Way too big for big for my tastes. Just think about how that would look sitting on the Flagg's deck. Since the Flagg was not 1:18 scale the Skystriker looked way too big for it. If this thing landed on the Flagg it would tip it over and sink it. I'm sure one of the wings would probably get taken out as it passed by the control tower.
