I don't really care for those boots/feet. Only the knees are the real problem.

I got a blue DG Shipwreck head to put on the 50th Snow Job figure; which is a versatile base figure for the snow (unlike Blowtorch). I like the grey Shipwreck skullcap! D'oh!

That's funny you posted this, cause I did the same thing sunday night, except I painted the cap white. It was the first time ever did any kind of custom painting.

Bump!
Anymore fixes for wave 2 of the 50th stuff? I think Nighthawk has a few done too.

Is it easy to crack the torsos on the latest 50th figures? I had trouble with some Retaliation figs because of the plastic.

I really didn't need a 50th Beach Head (although I ended up with 4... WTF?) Anyway, a couple of years ago I made a 30th custom Beach Head (far left) based on the concept case version. The 50th version is in the middle. I made a custom armored version from a POC Beach Head torso and upper arms with the legs and lower arms from a 50th version. As for the belts on my customs, I used a 25th Hiss Tank Driver belt on my 30th and an ROC Reactive armor Duke belt with holster cut-off on my armored version.
I'm working on Destro. I've already fixed the knees, which was easy. I've also done some grinding and sanding to fix his "baby breeding hips" and given him a working holster. Once I get him finished I will post pics. |
