anyone thought of swapping lower arms off leatherneck with the roadblock figures from retaliation, or making a sgt slaughter kitback with leatherneck?

First, boiling water is your friend. This is something all modern era Joe collectors ought to know, but considering the soft plastic, warped limbs and stuck joints we're currently experiencing, it's especially important with these 50th figures and worth repeating. Instead of wrenching on that stuck joint or manually trying to straighten Destro's gimpy knees, slow down before you break that POS and soak it in some boiling water or run the offending joint under the hot tap for a bit (boiling works better though). I just freed a SDCC DATD Flint's stuck shoulder, un-crooked Leatherneck's crooked torso and straightened the legs of all my 3-pack figures with this method. Just remember to not boil the toys themselves. Boil the water, poor that boiling water into a non-metallic bowl, insert figures. This new plastic softens up fast, so it doesn't even take a minute. If you think boiling water is a hassle, give breaking a joint a try. Better still, just buy an electric kettle. It'll come in handy for other things besides your toy OCD too. Cup o' Noodles, instant oatmeal, grits...tea, even.

Yeah, I'd like to see that too. As is, Leatherneck kinda looks like shit with all the paint issues he has.

Heres my LN upgrades. Fixed his hair (a lot was missing over his left ear) gave him a matching grey gun and knife, Painted an Airborne BP and painted a few other details. All in all I am LOVING this figure!!!

MUCH better. Maybe Hasbro is actually sending out unfinished figures as art projects for us Tankers!

hilarious how fast we went from "Ultimate" figures to having to do touch-ups and guides for the 50th figures.
