I was not excited at all about the movie line coming out, don't want a Wayans action figure, not a fan of the new models, but seeing 25th/Modern stuff like Monkeywrench and a resolute looking Gung Ho coming out is making me more and more excited. At first I was not happy about the different packaging, but since I open my figures anyway, I think the Movie line will be a good time to get alot of Resolute looking guys for my collection, and my opinion is quickly changing. I mean, I would prefer the 25th keep going, but I knew it wouldn't, at least not during the movie. Having something that will keep me at least slightly interested in hunting is a plus, having guys that I actually really want like Monkeywrench and Resolute styled guys is a BIG plus.
Is anyone else getting more excited seeing these guys being merged with the line, or is the sentiment more anger that they didn't just continue the Modern line? |

The new line dosen't appeal to me either. I'm just going to be very selective for the next few months. This is also a good time for me to catch up on my Marvel Legends BAFs. I'll get anything that looks Resolute or 25th enough.

Man, I just need the rest of the Resolute figs... I don't care how I get them. LOL. But they should have done mixed waves from the start with all three versions (ARAH, ROC, Resolute) being represented in each wave; I bet the kids wouldn't know the difference between the figs as long as the packaging looked like the movie packaging.

Did they fix Monkeywrench? The first shot I've seen of him was just an outback retool. He needs his glasses.
But that's me being nit-picky. He does look AWESOME. And yes, the Walmart 2 pack exclusives are AWESOME. I am very excited. And yes, I did use AWESOME twice (now three times) in one thread. |
