Just wondering what the chances are of the remaining original 13 being done for the 25th line.
If I'm not mistaken, there are 5 still left to be released: Grunt, Zap, Short-Fuze, Steeler & Clutch. Now Steeler and Clutch could easily show up with a vehicle later, but are the other 3 really big enough to get Hasbro to do them? If we do see them, where? Comic packs? Single cards? Vehicles? Just wanted people's thoughts. |

They will be made. Hasbro made it a point to assure that the original 13 will be made. They are going to spread it out through the line. I would expect to have all 13 by early 09.

Well, the original was a "lame Flash repaint" as well, so it's appropriate. ;)
I'm pretty confident the remaining 13 will be made, it may just take a little bit. Generic looking soldiers in straight up olive drab aren't all that interesting to the non-hardcore Joe fans. I'm sure they'll show up, Hasbro just might get creative with their releases. Justin |

I think Clutch might come with a vehicle and the rest could be featured with comic packs.

Personally I am hoping the remaining 5 are single-carded. I do not have any desire for the comic packs although I did purchase the ones with Hawk and Breaker, only because I wanted those particular figures (I do not care for the Scarlett and Destro that were included with the packs).
The only figure thus far (of the origianl 13) that I care not for is Grand Slam. They should do a little bit better job on him. Granted he looks just like Flash repainted (as others have stated) but at least change his head to reflect that there was a difference between both originals. I am really looking forward to Grunt, as he was my very first G.I.Joe figure. |
