I use an excel spreadsheet for my collections. I still forgot about figures I buy and sell all the time though. usually I know about how many packages I have coming but dont always remember what I bought until I open them up. and sometimes I dont open my packages and just store in my storage unit. so it gets confusing sometimes.

I do wish that Hasbro would orient the file card so that it is not directly behind the bubble. This way you could, in theory, cut out the file card and not have any damaged areas on the back from removing the bubble. Not that I would even bother cutting it out, but some people might want to.

I did that with buzzer.........
I decided to get em all and I went and bought that fig which I passed on several times.
A few months latter I went through my figs and I could not find that buzzer anywhere. I knew I bought him, I just knew it! Well I could not find him anywhere so I went on a hunt........for buzzer and this was the time he was starting to dry up after many moons being a shelf warmer. I found one at K-Mart for 8 bucks and with intense pain, I re purchased the fig. I NEVER found my first one; found the receipt but no figure. He might have gotten mixed up in some excess bags that I tossed.

I use an Excel spreadsheet, as well, but sometimes I forget to enter recently obtained items. I guess more physical inventories are in order...

I do that every once in awhile. I swear I just bought a Clone Wars C3PO, but I can not find him now. He's probably in some box. Ahhh!

I'm extremely picky, and I despise clutter, so I don't buy a lot of stuff at all. Everything I own easily fits into the bedroom of my apartment, one parking space at my apartment, and my old bedroom at my mom's (which houses my greatest vices - several thousand Silver and Broze Age Marvel comics and my old Magic cards!). And I keep detaled records of pretty much everything I have.
So I never forget that I buy anything. :b

I troop build and try to keep record of the opened ones. I have to sometimes buy another because i am at an uneven number. I have to have even numbers on my troops. Currently 52 troopers 10 officers 40 vipers 28 bats and similar numbers on everything else.
