I just love the first sentence of the auction listing. Allow me....
MOSC (Mexican/Canadian Card) G I Joe Prototype\Test-Shot 25th Anniversary Wave 5 Crimson Guard Cobra Elite Trooper. Ok, so the Seller knows it's nothing more than a tri-lingual card....but yet still mentions it being a "test shot"? LMAO Hmmmm....I wonder, do our brothers & sisters to the North have the absolute LUCK of finding nothing but test shots at retail? I mean, I remember going to TRU and finding a platoon of Beast Wars figures I needed....but test shots? (Just in case, for the sarcasm impaired, I'm just kidding). I think you can report it, but as CanPrime mentioned, it's obvious that the seller isn't going to get what he thought he would on the piece. Plus, I believe these figures are going for $7.95 at retail, so he's actually losing out as it is. |

Todd, shipping from the US to CA is waaaaaaaaay cheaper than shipping from CA to the US. $10 is just about spot on for shipping. Don't forget, with our weak dollar, $10 might actually equate to less than what's owed for shipping to the US. If you're curious as to what it may cost exactly, go here: http://www.canadapost.ca I just ran a quote with the weight being 1 lb, with no insurance to my homestate of MI, and air comes to $8.20, with Land (which takes forever) costing $6.90. |

RANT"""" Canada is a seperate country from the US. It has an international border, and a population 1/10 the size of the US. That said Canadapost is not USPS. It charges ridiculous rates for shipping, especially to the US and does not have a set rate, but rather everything is calculated on weight and size. You cannot compare US shipping rates to other countries, it doesn't work! RANT"""" Sorry, just a frustration I get when I hear US residents saying what they pay for shippping versus what they feel is reasonable to the US. That said, if you wanted the figure without tracking and insurance. It could be done by surface small packet for around $6-$7 (under 500g in weight and a box only slightly bigger than the card). Over 500g but under 1kg would be approximately $10 to start for surface small packet. Over a 1Kg, or to get a service with tracking and insurance (no matter how small and light the package), would start in the low teens. So it really depends on how it is packed. I saw this on ebay and just laughed, I was going to email the guy, but it probably would not do any good.
