I saw some of the them at my local Toys r us today ,i must say the sculpting is quite impressive along with the paint application and attention to detail is a bit superior to the classic line .I've recently been bitten by the old school Joe bug ,i want to either replace damaged figures ,or add ones i missed the first time around this means a quite a bit of money ,and i also collect the new star wars line (1995 -) So from a financial point of view i have to weigh things out a little as to what i want to invest my money on because collecting too many lines is very expensive .
I'd just like to hear some feedback from people who own the newer figures if they feel they are worth the money or not ,just out of curiosity ,if you can give a list of "pros and cons" what you like and dislike about the series i'd like to know ? |

You are on a joe website and you are asking if we think they are worth the money?
Every one on here who owns one thinks they are worth the money or else they wouldnt have bought them. If you dont want to do the whole line. Just get a few of your favs.

As i mentioned the sculpting is great and true to the original line ,i'm not crazy about a few of them but like you said it's all about choice ? I just wanted to hear some feedback from collectors that's all ? |

I hear you brother. I was in the same boat I have bin collecting SW 95 to now. When I saw the new Joes I was like WOW, they are amazing. I took me a few months to finally brake down and pick up my first Joe. I just had to make the deal with my wife that I would not go overboard with it like I did with my SW stuff. I keep it simple just one of each for the Joes and minimum number for troop building on the Cobra side.

dude these are bad ass,
cons -some dudes suck, the plastic is softer so they tend to lean over if the back pack is to heavy, or the pose you put it in, an the peg holes for the feet wear out from it.. its got more pros then cons in my book, an the pros over ride the cons, i think they are well worth it. imo! |

the 90s star wars were cool cuase the joes in the mid and late 90s and 2000s were crap with repaints.these 25th lines are a come back.the new star wars are crap in articulations and molds.everyone here loves the 80s joes.the 25th line are the remastered versions of the 80s.plus figs that were never made too.i couldnt afford joes back then and this is now my chance.it is worth it.
