Rowdy Roddy Piper on the other hand.....one word, no. Just weird and not properly invested in this line enough to make any kind of sense. Piper is the perfect foil to Slaughter. I'm just sorry they didn't have a way of including "coconut smashing" action for his figure. Plus take a look at his "classic" action in "They Live" and tell me he isn't the perfect choice for a celebrity figure. |

not to mention during the gulf war, sarge became some kind of collaborating traitor or some such nonsense which totally ruined it. I hate wrestling now, but as a kid I was kind of into it and sarge's character rolling over with the enemy infuriated me as a kid. the whole portrayal of iraqi soldiers and an american turncoat was in bad taste as american soldiers were dying over there to force a facist dictator out of another country he was commiting atrocities in.

Didn't it turn out that he was brainwashed by the Iraqi's during that time? Weird.

Rowdy Roddy Piper on the other hand.....one word, no. Just weird and not properly invested in this line enough to make any kind of sense. Piper is funny because he's Scottish (as is Destro) and he's a good foil opposite The Sarge. Personally I would have loved to get a piper figure myself. |

I like the idea of Piper working for Destro, I just wish the figure was actually in the style of the 25th anniversary figures instead of a previous series.

he should be 25th style, but since he's a con exclusive and I'll never gat my hands on him, I'm not too shook up about it. besides, I'd be too tempted to open it up.
