Does the new bat have both chest plates and heads? The TRU site pic just shows the clean head and the damaged plat on.

Oh shit, NOOOO!!!!!! Well if you’re looking for a kinda fix, take a small drill bit and with your fingers, drill into the arm just enough for a toothpick to fit. Do the same to the elbow piece, then cut the pointed ends off the toothpick and size it to where it looks good. Use hot glue or dealers choice of adhesive to set the “splint” toothpick. I did this on a couple zombie labs figures. Something to add, being the figure this is you may want to practice those instructions on a fodder figure if you decide to try that method.

Another thing to try is to cut out the broken elbow donut piece from the bad lower arm, heat and pop the other lower arm to assess the size of the insert peg, then rummage thru similar fodder to best matching piece. Maybe early 25th cobra troopers, officers or commanders match or is close enough?
Remove elbow by cutting thru peg on one side--on the bad arm only, at the location marked in red on the attached (on bad arm only!). Worth a shot. Alternately, you can break the other arm to match? I had a similar break this year, but because I was removing the arm before thoroughly heated. Good luck! |
