I'm waiting to see a re-pack with some human feces in it. I bet that will still stay on the shelves too.

the sad thing is that its all the toys r us store here in this country.they don't care about the consumer one bit.they never have what you're looking for and rather then check the store computer they just say "whats on the floor is what we have",even if you check on a day to day basis.as a long time collecter,i refuse to shop there till customer service improves.i encourage other collectors to do the same.so the only thing i would ask you fellow collectors:WHO'S WITH ME?

this talk of worker pay equals quality worker is silly in my experience. The individual has to take some pride in what they do, and idealy that's what gets you better gigs. I wow every damn person I work for, or with. I don't care if I am building your house or serving you dinner, I am going to do the best damn job of it, and take care of the slackers as well (and deal with them with respect and to thier face, not over their head until it needs be). Money is made to be made. Laziness and sense of entitalment are the banes of all workforces. I have had some success in alertign the managers to the repacks, but as yall state, it depends on the individual. So I suggest take that extra 5 minuets to alert them, it's the least ya can do. Kinda like pushing that cart to the bin in the lot. Makes that poor fellas' day easier, and cost ya a whole extra momnet to do. COBRA!

I quit working at Toys R Us about a year ago. While I never feel a need to defend them, I just felt a need to point a few things out.
FIRST: Repacks are not the fault of the store or any employee. It is the fault of collectors who have become thieves. Plain and simple. SECOND: Toys R Us, as a company, is notorious for changing its rules on a darn near daily basis. The average employee is too damn busy trying to learn - and then RElearn - each new rule/policy change. Something like a repack that a thief created is very low priority. THIRD: When being paid minimum wage (or a wee bit over), the absolute LAST thing you want to deal with is a collector. Nuff said. FOURTH: Most TRU stores DO NOT have much space for a warehouse in back. In all honesty, what you see on the floor is what you get. At the store I worked at (and am still friends with employees there), the back room stock is all Speed Racer crap, things for the upcoming season, kids clothes and baby food. That's it. There is no magical realm of hidden action figures in back. Really. FIFTH: The TRU system for getting merch from the regional warehouse to the stores is antiquated beyond belief! As a store, you are not allowed to order product! It cannot be done! The regional warehouse decides who gets what and when. I just wanted to point these things out for you all. Stop blaming the overworked and underpaid workers at the store. Place your blame where it belongs, at the collectors turned thieves and Hasbro for not making enough product to go around.
