I will say this about the above packs. They are not that bad for others, like kids. Sure you are not getting what you are supposed to, but at least if a kid gets it, they will get a Storm Shadow.
Could have been a Corps figures or some other crappy figure or even a Star Wars figure. |

It is really sad to see the lengths some people will go to earn a few dollars. I can't imagine selling stolen stickers on the internet, or basically shoplifting a figure by swapping it out and returning it to the store is more rewarding that having a job and buying things with money you earn.
I would have never thought people would put points on EBAY for sale. Yet there they were for $29.99 for 150 pts! People will sell anything on that site I guess. So i guess people want to get as many Docs as they can to resell them at an astronomical price later? Just got back into collecting so just learning the ropes. |

I saw a repack of the Joe 5 pack at K-Mart. Roadblock, Snake-Eyes and Gung-Ho were all replaced with their 99-2000 counterparts (before the t-crotch figures) I alerted three stockworkers, showing them the repacked set and a propper set.....That repacked set has been sitting on the shelf for months now

The old switcheroo huh? That's just sad, pathetic and all kinds of other bad stuff.
Now I know this is stretching it but... Suppose the wrong person gets duped by one of these guys. The next thing you know it's a news story focusing on the dark side of collecting, oh and they'll probably throw in a crying child to get people fired up. Then the next time you're at the store looking for Joe's everyone's staring at you because you're that asshole they just saw on tv. Nothing good can come of this kind of behavior. |
