I went to WM today and saw my first repack. Someone bought dvd battles 2, 3, 4, and 5 and switched figures. On #2 they took destro out and replaced him with some weird guy. On #3 they took Serpentor and Bat and left Dusty? they got replaced with leatherneck first version from 86? and someone else. On #4 they took major bludd and snake eyes and left quick kick. On 5 they took CC and cobra trooper and left Alpine? Why they took the "crapy" figures and left the good ones i dont know weird! I did buy the best of 80's so i could watch the dvd. I'll take it back later and i also bought a cd but when i opened it there was no disk. I figured they wouldnt believe me when i took it back in there but they gave me my money back.

coincidentally, i had my first ever repacker sighting today as well... it was a Wild Bill completely stripped of accessories - guns, vest, hat, stand, everything. it looked ridiculous. i don't understand why an employee would take that back. i mean... i don't know anything about tools, but if i was working in a store and somebody tried to return a set of tools and there were big tool-shaped spaces with no tools in them, i'd get a wee bit suspicious.

there is an ultimate bumblebee at a WM near me that is so loose in the package and is halfway transformed, box all beat up.
sometimes i wonder if the circus desk is just told to not investigate anything but higher ticket items, such as electronics. but, allow me again to serve you some solace against repacking....instead of grinding your teeth over it, think of this. had said repacker simply bought the sets and brought them home as it should be, youdve had no chance at buying them anyway. so, when you see a repack, just pretend its not there and was sold 20 seconds before you arrived. it will still suck that youre not getting what you want, but it will save your blood pressure from rising over a few toys. |

so.....rapists, terrorists, child molesters, child murderers, murderers, wife beaters, arsonists and the like can all rest easy knowing that compared to repackers, theyre the circus clowns of society.
perspective people, perspective. |
