...the Nocturnal Fire characters?
ie. Muskrat, Spearhead and Max, Psyche-Out, and Hit-n-Run, Charbroil. If so, how do you think they'll see light...through the Club or Hasbro directly? |

As nice as that would be to have those figures at retail prices, I'm not expecting anything.

I'm sure the club will slowly release them in the normal colors. Unless they lose use of the molds or something.

I think the club FSS, or a convention exclusive, is the only way it happens. Subsets seem to be a tough sell at retail. BBTS is still stuck trying to sell the 7 packs of slaughters marauders, and dreadnoks.

I think the Club will release them eventually if Hasbro doesn't release them at retail and adult collectors keep supporting the line.

If the Club can release Bombardier, they can definitely release them in ARAH colors.

It depends, IMO. Does Hasbro own the molds at their factories or does the Club?
If the answer is the Club, then I hope not because the figures will cost $30(+/-) each. I am tired of paying that much for a repaint. Some of them though could use a change in color if Hasbro owns them. H&R's pants seem too bright of green, for example. |

This topic has been discussed previously, especially when the Night Force figures were first revealed. There was the requisite bitching about why the club would do them in their NF color schemes instead of their Original colors, or if they would later reissue them. If these were to be done, it is pretty much guaranteed to be through the club. While the club uses Hasbro's part inventory to make figures, considering the fact that we have never seen Hasbro release a repaint of any club produced figure, I think it is safe to assume that the club somehow gets the rights to that particular arrangement of parts used in a given figure.
Personally, I really do not want to see these figures done again unless they club sells them at a lower price. The Con figures and FSS figures cost a lot, and for what I am paying, I expect some design and work to go into EVERY figure. ( Thats why I have such an issue with the Tiger Force figures in FSS2). I have already paid for these figures once, and that price included the work that went into designing them. If all they were to do is make them in alternate colors, then I would not be willing to pay the same amount for them again, when a big chunk of the production cost would be eliminated. In addition, While I prefer newer designs and characters over old ones, there are SO MANY characters that have yet to have a figure made in the Modern Era. I would much rather see Rampart, Pathfinder, Sub Zero, Crystal Ball, etc. than get repaints of pricey exclusives of characters I already have. |

I'd be ok with one repaint per FSS. Surprised they didn't do that with FSS2.
