Hi everybody, well I was sitting with my son as he was looking through our joe book making a want list, and he came up with 2 figs I have rarely seen ,Monstro viper and Bio viper, exactly how hard are these to find? surely they were not that popular ? I would like to put them in my want list for him but if they are really expensive I dont know if he needs them. Any help guys would be great, thanks ,mark

Their lack of popularity would be part of the problem. Unpopular subset, which didn't have as large a production run as normal equals a figure that might take some time to track down.
http://www.gijoepriceguide.com/monstroviper_93.html That seems in-line with what late-year Joe figures run. Last edited by Konigstiger; 03-29-2009 at 11:04 AM.. |

The Joe Price Guide at GIJOEPRICEGUIDE.COM puts Bio-Viper and Monstro-Viper @ ~$16 MOC.
I found some at Guru-Planet, Monstro Viper @ $25; Monstro Viper (carded) - GI Joe Action Figures, G.I. Vintage Toys & More GI Joe Collectibles! Guru-Planet Super Store and Bio Viper @ $25 aswell; Bio Viper (carded) - GI Joe Action Figures, G.I. Vintage Toys & More GI Joe Collectibles! Guru-Planet Super Store I also found them together as a set on Ebay w/ $11.05 Bid and ~2 Days to go. Seller's name is sise0619 w/ 99.8% Positive feedback; G I Joe MOC Mega Monsters Monstro Viper Bio Viper - eBay (item 350182579797 end time Mar-31-09 11:25:41 PDT) Anyway, hope this helps a little. I seem to remember these from when I was a kid... I think Bio's tentacles "squeeze" it's "victoms" by useing a "Thundercat's-like" button on the back, and I think Monstro's cheast opened up and he made little "Playdough" bioweapon bomb things that he could then toss w/ his right arm. |

The action features on these guys are not the best. The tentacles don't have much of a grip on them. But they look really nice in an army next to smaller cobra troops.
