Although I do prefer the box art, I do also like the diorama-style backdrop in the window boxes. If they did the book-style, they could possibly have both but I am sure they would want to cut costs somewhere.

I've never seen a joe tampered with in store. Just some bent cards.
Not many Joe fans out here.

Can't believe most voted yes.The repackers are masters of repacking comic(and you can see them)packs. What do you think they could get by with on a closed box.Its all fun and games until someone gets a box of junk.

They should have a seam along the edge, with a tab you have to pull to open the box...so its "sealed" and you can tell ifs been opened...

I got the conquest today. box art is sweet. the some assembly required is abit misleading to me. putting on missles and the 2 back upper wings wasnt much assembly.
everything was in my box unless the viper does come with a stand.mine didnt. |

Retro cardboard box>window box, however I hope that they next time Hasbro releases a jet or flying vehicle, that they commission an illustrator with an understanding of aviation and whichever subject matter is to be portrayed.
I prefer the new boxes because they are slimmer and due to that, more product is able to fit on shelves.
