So since the internationa toy fair is over, has Hasbro announced the SDCC Joe (or other) exclusives?
& if so is it the rumored Hound/Clutch Joe/TF crossover. I already know about the black series Boba Fett. |

From the looks of things Hasbro sold the rights to those images to USA Today. Who knows when they will post all of that up.

Oof. Probably not until like a week before the Con, then. Why would USA Today feel any need to post it before then since Comic-con wouldn't be newsworthy to anyone except the hardcore geeks until then?

Last year they did the SDCC Transformers stuff the same week as BotCon, I don't know if that will hold true this time since it will be very close to SDCC in time frame. Wait and see......

At Joe Con, all the Hasbro guys officially said about the SDCC set, was that it would be "inline with" the recent sets, and that they think people will be pleasantly surprised by the number of figures it includes. The final statement they made at their panel was they felt the set would "Fill a hole" in a lot people's collections. They also said it would be shown, along with all the other hasbro exclusives, via USA today. I later asked one of them while on the sales room floor, if he knew when they would be revealed. He told me there was not a specific date as of then, but to expect to see them revealed around a month before the SDCC. Considering that two years ago they used a repainted skystriker, and last year a repainted Hiss, I would not be shocked if this year they used the Eaglehawk. They have set a precedent for using their current top tier vehicle so it would not be out of the question. Another Transformers crossover is obviously a possibility, but I think perhaps it could be something else. Maybe a Tiger Force version of the Eaglehawk, with enough figures to fill all its seats? Remember, they did start TF back in the 25th, and never filled out the set, so that is a hole in a lot of peoples collections. That would explain why there are two TF figures in the FSS2. I still don't think the club would have them in there prior to a con set, because that would be tipping their hand way in advance.

Well they previous have done a couple of SW sets with mutable figures.. they had that IJ "lost wave" set with mutable figures.. it stands to reason it's about time for a Joe set!
Hopefully it's something super popular that's very limited, so the interwebz explode in rage!
