Apologies if there is already a thread for this.
I just thought Id create a thread so us unfortunate UK GI JOE fans could drown our sorrows and voice our woes at the total lack of product over here.... Thats not entirely true of course, theres still a whole bounty of RoC Baroness figures and Mole Pods at many of our local TRU outlets staring us in the face, crammed tightly inbetween the other stellar toylines such as Prince of Persia and Generator Rex... Many of us have already succumbed to the darkside and gone the evilbay route...where paying around £15 ($23) for a single figure has become the norm, maybe you start questioning if there was EVER a GI JOE / ACTION FORCE...or was it just a wonderful dream you once had as a child and can now only half remember? Anyway, thanks to the ever awesome traders here in the tank I still manage to (slowly but surely) keep up with the GI JOE line, but man sometimes the green mile seems so long.

i hear ya mate...what with the new usps shipping rates,it's pushed the price of a single figure up by a fiver or so.there are a few sellers on the bay that will ship figures loose and send them for around just over three quid...i just find it a pain in the arse to search for them, but it's worth it...if it saves money.

You guys "across the pond" got a raw deal. Hopefully in the future hasbro can find a UK distributor that is worth a damn.

Yeah it's awful. ROC figures were extortionate and didn't seem to shift but as you've said now they're cheaper it's only baroness' everywhere.
Have you tried the Barry potter toy fairs? I only collect vintage unless the price is good ,but one seller had a few of the series with techno viper and toxo zombies quite reasonable. I used to import a lot but £19 import fine on a $60 lot put me off. |

My blood boils when thinking how how much money ive wasted paying for customs charges, plus parcelforce flat fee of £8 for doing nothing. Rip off Britain indeed, it really spoils the fun of collecting.
Im gonna be dining off the rare pickings of ROC for years to come |
