Which of these do you like better? Even though GI Joe 25th is a remake of the classics, I'm not crazy about the head. Sure they can look up, but still the head looks kind of goofy to me, especially the back. Anyone feel the same way?
I'm more partial to GI Joe vs Cobra Spy troops for the reason that I think they look better. CrossHair was my favorite spy troop of the GI Joe vs Cobra line. |

I don't like the 25th heads alot. All of the sculpts are horrible. Have you seen a 25th Spirit?

I'm sorry, but the 25th Joes blow spy troops out of the water.
I have all the spy troops figures, and there was no standard in height articulation etc.. There were some really good figures yes, (like Barrel Roll) but there were far more crappy figures than good ones. That said, I would LOVE to see some of the spy troops re-done as 25th. Barrel Roll, Blackout, and Crosshairs are who'd I'd love to see. I wouldn't mind a 25th Neo-Viper either. |

I have to say i like the 25th better. I do agree that Spytoops had some great figures, Crosshairs being one of my favorites. Barrel Roll was sweet too. Scalpel has a great headsculpt even though im not a big fan of the figure itself.

The cut out at the back of the head is a little different, but overall the 25th blow the new-sculpts out of the water.
Some of the newsculpts (Crosshairs, Med Alert, Barrel Roll, Bombshell, Dart, Blackout, etc) should be updated to 25th style if you ask me. |

Oh yeah, Bombshell is great too. We need more women released for the 25th. |

I saw 25th Spirit at Target. Its just bad compared to the original. The head sculpt of 25th Duke is pretty bad too compared to the original. I have them both. Hasbro should have just stuck to the original head sculp while focusing added articulation on the rest of the body. The improved articulation of the feet on the 25th is a great improvement from either the original and spy troops. My main issue is with the head sculp.

The only issue I have with the heads is that Hasbro does not know how to paint a face for crap. Characters either have scars in the middle of their eyes, skin in their eyes, their eyes dripping down their cheeks, eyebrows that are too long, etc. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with the 25th line, and they are by far vastly superior to everything from before.
