I got myself an F/A-18 Hornet, and I am going to eventually open it up and display it. Los scalper bastardos do not deserve the happiness of buying one of these bad birds just so that they can turn around and scalp fellow Joe collectors on Ebay. |

Yeah, I think almost everyone who wanted one got one today. He seemed to have them coming out the wazoo (technical term).
I think BBI must have shipped him every remaining jet in North America! He can downsize his storage unit after today.. ha ha. I got 2 F-16's, so Ace can have a Wingmate. And a F/A-18 because those foldy wings are so purdy.

Does anyone have a picture of a BBI Jet with a GI Joe jet? I read that the Conquest X-30 is the same size as the P-51 Mustang, but I'd love to see 1 picture with the Hornet/F-16 with a conquest or rattler.

Thats crazy! I cant believe someone has been sitting on these for so long. Thanks Honasty for letting us know, hopefully I can get a Pavehawk and hope for an f 18. I have an f 16 that thing is huge and I dont have the space to display anymore of them. I also managed to get an Apache but got it from ebay for abou 65 bucks and it is just as awsome. A fellow Tanker hooked me up with a Super Cobra and it is sweet! I hope I can still snag a Pavehawk, any idea how much they are?

Today will be long remembered by the small cache of us who collect realistic 1/18 military vehicles along with our Joes. Seriously, how many of us finally got these birds? Thanks to Honasty for doing the research and finding this gem. In a year we'll all be talking about "that day we got the BBI birds from a guy in Florida who doesn't ebay". Classic.

There has never been a BBi version made of the Bradley. There is the FOV version that came out after the 21C version. The 21C version is much more expensive and came in desert and Woodland camo and the rocket laucher actually moves on this version.
Plus, the 21C is a M2 Bradley, the FOV version is a M3 Bradley. Last edited by Starfighter; 02-27-2009 at 12:07 AM.. |
