This isn't as good as it gets for 3.75 figures. It's all you get. What other ones were made? |

As good as it gets does not equate quality. I'd like a Joe scale T-90 russian tank.. but I don't think a 1/35th scale model is "as good as it gets". Your "HIND" is a vaguely similar helicopter, missing MANY fine points and size to a comparable Russian Mi-24 HIND-D. You sir are selling bad goods and I don't think you should make exorbitant profits off something that looks like an aborted PTE toy for $60+ dollars. This is not a B/S/T topic and I'd hate for you to be know as a seller who misleads their buyers. Good day to YOU, sir.

Actually he said to not represent them as 1:18th which they really aren't. If it was that scale it would be way bigger. He did say it's good for a Joe scale one so I don't see what the problem would be.

Second one BIN'd but not paid for ATM. Canada and Thailand in the house. I'm shipping these priority with tracking and insurance, and I am dumping my paypal balance to my bank account as soon as everything is shipped. LOL. Now I gotta decide about the loose one.
On one hand, I wanted these for my army. OTOH, there is no way I would pay $60 for one of these. They weren't even something I was willing to buy for retail. I bought them on clearance. Target price was $13. I paid $9. My thought is that if I do not sell, then I paid whatever I would get on ebay for them. Next up are my 21C warbirds. My new joe room is smaller than the other and these things are just too big. The HIND is essentially a flying IFV. The Combat Command HIND does not look like that. The only appeal to this thing years back was that it was a "joe-scale" HIND. That's it. Also there weren't many joe-scale helicopters around back then. Now you can go to Big Lots and by the far superior Z-9 for $20, and it has way more stuff, in addition the copter itself doesn't look squashed. The market for mass market military vehicles compatible with 3-3/4" figures is different than it was back then. There are more manufacturers in the mix with better offerings. The Combat Command line had potential but ended up disappointing. Their A-10 was immediately outclassed once PTE released their own A-10. |

PTE has really stepped up, they are my favoite 1:18 manufacturer of 2010. With the IFV and the Buggy I was really impressed. The Z-9 was smallish for 1:18, but I was happy with their execution.

Can anybody change this to a new post for me ?
Hey Guys, It took about 4 years but finally this will happen. I am not sure how I did it but I wanted for this to be a new post but it piggybacked onto a 4 year old post . I am well on my way working on the Hind . I broke my wrist a few weeks ago so I have had a buddy of mine make quite a few pieces from a 3-D printer . I have since roughed in the fuselage and almost have all of the pieces roughed in and fitted . No it is not cheap and will be made in white resin. I have been taking presale deposits of $300 . Which will be the price for the presale plus shipping. Once production starts the price of production will be about $350 -$450 for a unfinished kit . Here are a bunch of pics and a few posts of other popular 1/18th scale forums .
