one word: NOVEL!
i get that we like to express ourselves on these forums, and being that you did start this thread - you deserve the right to vent, but dude! streamline those thoughts. ok, that said... it does suck what they did to you. I would've thrown a fit. you should have used the force. i got my UBP on clearance at Target for $39. There were four other packs on the rack. I knew I had scored and was excited for the next hunter. my CC doesnt have a helmet either. neither did the four other packs. i wonder how big of a variant these are... |

I know none of the UBP's came with helmets on the figures, they are packed under the diorama somewhere...

I don't know how people get in these predicaments. I'm always polite and ask for a manager if I can't a sales associate to do what I want. Apparently you didn't really know how things work there. Items that ring up for $0.00 or "item not found" can definitely be sold. You did the right thing by having an associate search for the last price in the system. Where you went wrong is you should have had that same associate walk the ubp to a register with you. They can tell the register associate how much it is and there's no problems. I've been finding quite a few 09 clearance items and haven't had an issue with buying any items at Target. Now walmart is a totally different situation. If an item doesn't ring up with a price or is out of their system, it takes an act of god to get a price on it.

I worked at target as a backroom associate for a nearly two years. I was one of two people who did their job properly,no matter how crowded and un orginized the stockrooms got. There was this one manager who would accuse me of "burning batches" which is when you scan the merchindise and stockroom location but don't physically pull the items. I don't know what this dude had against me but he obviously didn't like me for some reason. That's another reason I dont like target, the way they treat their emloyees. But its like that at most retail stores, they work their workers to death and at the same time treat them like crap.
