That is to say when the ban is lifited.
Alley Viper attached to the Strike Team Urban Division 82nd.
Cobra wants you! I'm looking for some ruthless Vipers to fill the ranks. Joes need not apply.

I have 7 Super WM's, 5 Target's(2 Super), 3 K-Mart's, and 1 TRU all within a 20 mile radius and have found and bought everything released so far at retail. I did online purchases to do my army building, but since I'm stopping that, online purchases will be only when I can't find anything at retail.

I like going to the stores. Just sucks that can't always find everything no matter how often I go.
So then it's nice that online is there.

I live in the bay area and as it is. Target and walmart don't get enough joes. But I tend to do a lot of walking when I hunt and exercise is good. As if I don't get enough of it on my night job. But I will miss that and there's nothing else I want to collect at this moment.
Therefore, I order 75% online and the rest is hunting. I will be buying the Movie vipers in the stores, because I'm sure many of them will be there. I will also be purchasing the Motor-Viper. Army builders are sometimes common, soimetimes impossible to find around here.
But now since the 7 packs are coming out in June/July. I need to save money, so all I'll be buying is fodder.

i like going hunting, its fun and plus sometimes im on the fence about certain figures and like to see them in person before i decide if i want them. online is cool and i guess is easier and saves time but their is nothing like finding exactley what your looking for, its a great feeling.

I prefer finding stuff in stores. Usually the prices are nicer, and have a few stores between home and work so doesn't really cost any extra in gas. Love walking down the toy aisle and seeing new stuff on pegs. Problem is real life is getting in the way these days and I can't hunt as often and more often then not I just find the remnants of new waves. That is depressing.

It's close to $2.80 in some parts of Northern California now, and was damn near $5 this summer. And with Wal-Mart raising singles to $8 and CPs to $13, they're no longer the cheap place to shop.
It's sad when HTS beats stores, with shipping INCLUDED. Throw in a code, and it takes care of tax, sometimes shipping. I'm probably going to jinx myself, but I've had great luck with HTS and BBTS so far, and really like what limited buying I've done through Outer Rim Collectibles.
I only store-hunt anymore when I'm bored. And that's pretty rare. We're finally getting items in stores that I bought online, for 2/3 the price, MONTHS ago. Maybe it's our distribution, or lack of parking spaces, or the amount of shoppers who don't speak English and won't get out of my way, but I get put in a foul mood shopping at Target or Wallyworld anymore.
I'm so glad that the new 7-packs are online-only. One less thing to get my hopes up about eventually seeing in stores, when I know I won't.

I have always been a fan of the hunt, but I just can't get out as much (I'm in the three kid category on that one). However, I've grown fond of the on-line hunt. It's just as thrilling when you find the right deal you've been looking for and it's cheaper than retail (even with shipping). It doesn't happen as much, but it does happen.
Also, there are some things I collect that just aren't carried in stores around here.

I miss hunting. Since Spytroops we've had nothing over here in Blighty. I must confess I do get a similar buzz from sitting on sites like BBTS, knowing that things are about to come on pre-order and scooping them before they sell out, but it's not the same. My collection however is complete - or as complete as I want it to be. I know that if I want, say 6 Eels, I can order up the unit, and they'll all arrive at the same time. Nothing more irritating than having space on a shelf for a planned unit, and only having been able to pick up the one.
