walmart posted this morning that their quarterly net sales rose 1.7 percent to only 108 billion, earnings per share of 96 cents. so in my opinion fuck em and stick it to them what ever way you can. they are corporate communits that treat the backbone of their company like shit; the employees.

First, employees know exactly how much they're going to be paid when they start working there. If they have a problem with the pay or benefits, they should find another job. Second, you call them communists but I don't think you have the first clue what that word really means. Wal Mart is in business to earn a profit. Moreover, they're run from the top down with senior executives making more money and having more decision making authority than the lowly sales associates working in sporting goods. If the company was communist then all employees would be equal in both pay and decisionmaking authority and there would be no managers, supervisors, etc. So please, don't use words you don't understand to bolster your claim that it's ok to lie, cheat and steal from a capitalist corporation like Wal Mart. It's not ok. At least they're paying their employees and creditors. The same can't be said for some employers like, ummm the State of California, who's issuing IOUs. |

I'm guessing this is a new policy? I know I took a bunch of stuff back without receipt to Walmart just this Christmas. We had a bunch of duplicate toys the kids got this year and I always knew Walmart was the one and only place that never gave me any hassle if I didn't have the receipt.
On a side note.... TRU will only let you return something for 45 days even if you have the receipt. I bought some Star Trek figures (Kirk and Spock) and held onto them not knowing if I really wanted to keep them....tried to return them and was told my receipt had expired. Oh well..... |
