I found an Eel the other day at TRU. I bought it. The recession hasn't really affected me too much. Luckily I'm too poor for the recession to affect me.

I know how you feel. I passed up on a Resolute Duke and Resolute CC last Sunday. I've been out of work since November 5, 2008. The Last time I bought Joes at retail was just before Christmas, when I had a little Christmas shopping money left. Last time I bought a Joe on-line was second week of January and only because I had $15 on laying around on my Paypal account.

- you begin to see a decent supply of Wii consoles and Wii Fit, around stores within the 5 mile radius.
- you see newly released items (ie. Kota-like toys, Spring/Patio furniture) ending up on clearance.... like already. - you see more retail employees inside the stores, than customers - you see empty parking lots, like literally clean.

When I see a MIB BBI Black Hawk and an open complete BBI Apache gathering dust in a local collectible store.

I actually passed on two Ghost Hawks at two different K-marts recently. Damn. Too bad Hasbro didn't bring back Joes for their 23rd anniversary; I had money in 2005. LOL.
