Looking to maybe get into creating some dioramas for the 25th Joes in 2008. Any suggestions (other than GunRunners...very cool stuff) as wear to get reputable things online for the 1:18 scale? Like landscapes, or building pieces, or even toy lines (like PowerElite) that might have some cool accessories to use? Any direction is appreciated in advance. Thanks!!

I know at Big Lots they have small dio type sets for $2.50. I think they are PTE or elite forces? things like:
campfire sets folding brick walls with windows barrels axes bolt cutters kayaks horse camels watch tower safety cones etc. |

This was a dresser drawer. All I did was put in some sand, rocks, an onion plant and a few sticks for logs. Instant tropical jungle or an alien planet (see the link above my sig for that story) Here we have the coffee table with a couple of printed images for wall. (All I did to get that was a goggle search for Predator) Added a few rocks for a table and (Be very careful doing this) two wooded balls with candles inside surrounded by rocks for fire pits.Oh BTW make sure your spouse is either asleep or something when taking a shot like this on the furniture Here we have the dresser drawer again, but with a wire shelf that is either for plates or desk. In this picture it's a weapons rack, guns are from my friend and yours Marauder. The table was made by me from wood kits at Wal-Mart. The "table" surface comes in a bag of 5 or 6 for about $2.00, legs are dowel sticks also about $2.00 for I think 20 all in different sizes. This one here is a place mat I picked up from a Dollar Tree store for a buck. Makes a great back ground |

This one here is nothing, but a table with dirt and fish tank plants. Huey is by 21st Century Toys All the bar furniture here was built by me from stuff in the Arts and Crafts dept at Wal-Mart. Don't be afraid to build things either. Remember if you can't find it make it. Also don't be afraid to use your PC for back drops either. |
