I like the revolver, even though it's rediculous in the face of practicality.
Just like in Metal Gear Solid with Revolver Ocelot "This is the greatest handgun ever made... the Colt Single Action Army. Six bullets; more than enough to kill anything that moves." "I love the feeling of slamming a long silver bullet, into a well greased chamber."

I have replaced almost all of the 25th anniversary weapons with Marauder product, but for some reason, I can't find it in me to get rid of the revolvers the CGs carry. Impractical? Absolutely. But they just look so badass...
My CGs have all had their rifles replaced with the HKG36 (think that's what it's called), with their old rifles surplused to the Dreadnoks, but they've kept the revolver.

I look at it like the Cougar Magnum from GoldenEye for the N64...never really thought it was strictly a cowboy weapon.

All my CG revolvers have been replaced with Marauder Inc. 45's. I've kept their rifles but also given them Marauder modular M4s with scopes and grenade launchers or UMPs.
Before I found even one CG I hypothesized the Marauder 1911a 45 pistol would fit best in the the CG's holster and I was right so I replaced all the revolvers with 45's. The 45's go in at a bit of an angle but it's a tight fit so they won't slip out of the holster easily. |

The revolver fits in the holster a little better if you turn it around to have the handle facing forward.

They could've at least put a dummy panel over part of it so the hollowness doesn't stick out so bad. |
