How would you like to be a terrorist running into either one of these two?

Well then the smaller of the two pistols he comes with does not look like a Glock to me then IMHO.
If you think it does great, call it a Glock then and enjoy it, personally though I am now on what is the 8th Glock that I have owned and that does not look like any of them to me. ![]() Again, it looks like it has the proportions of a .380 S&W Sigma to me. It just doesn't have that little "bump" that sticks out at the back of a Glock where the rear of the frame meets the rear of the slide (top of the beaver tail if it had one). Again, JMHO, you're more than welcome to yours, but that don't look like no Glock to me. ![]() Of course, again we are talking about 1/18th scale handguns, so a lot if left to the detail in them, and I'm sure it's pretty hard to get somethings this small look dead on at this scale too. Here -
A Glock of the model 19/23/32 frame size - http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...icial%26sa%3DN .....and a S&W .380 Sigma - http://armsbid.com/ks7pix/7glmo26.jpg See the difference in shape now, and how the Glock is more squared up, as where the Sigma has more angles to it? HTH - Eric |

Ok, I think I found a solution (and it was right in front of my nose the whole time
![]() I took one of the 1911 Colt .45s (the gun the Beretta 92FS 9mm replaced in our military in 1985) from some of my loose various Joe figures, and stuffed it in the CGs holster. Granted it was a tight fit, but it stays in place WAY better than Destro's Glock he comes with, plus you can actually make out what it is in the holster as compared to the Glock. Here, check it out, here's a picture of a guy we'll call "Fred" and his - ![]() Looks pretty good huh? Plus it looks more "realistic" that if these guys are the best of the best, they'd be carrying something more like a custom 1911 anyway. Look how good he looks holding it - ![]() He's a natural! Get him into a bullseye competition at the local range on a Wed night! Here's the last one - ![]() A vast improvement in my opinion, especially for those of you who know how much I hate the CGs with that SSA revolver. :( HTH -

Here's what the regular CG looks like with the .45 -
![]() .....and a close up - ![]() Pretty sweet huh? Again, these are the Hasbro .45s that come with the 25th figures. I tried some of the ones from Maruader also, but they didn't look as good (sorry John). Regardless, a BIG improvement in my book.

first off, the holster, if thats what you can call it, sucks. its more of a built-in hammer loop to me.
second, im of the school of thought that its a ceremonial issue too. kind of a "mastery of weaponry" thing. modern firearms complimented and contrasted by classic. regardless of how one sees it though, i dont see it as an issue worthy of a "rant". |

If you are passionate about firearms (like I am) and you also understand that the CGs are supposed to be the best of the best and the elite of the Cobra troops, not to mention just how cool the are ![]() Not to mention the fact that SSA revolvers are only, oh I don't know late 1800's technology! :( So this intelligent, savy, almost spy like elite trooper who is the top of the Cobra ranks is going to use something that old, and out of date that has NO cerimonial connection to the CGs legend at all? Why doesn't he just ride around in a stage coach or steam powered locomotive too then, rather than either a BMW or MB? I said it before and I'll say it again, Wild Bill? Yeah, that makes sense, him having two SSA revolvers, given the "cowboy" nature of the character. Hell, I'd even be OK with it with the Dreadknocks, given the southern nature/heritage of them coming from the south and wanting to tie to something to that, or like a sawed off 12ga or even lever action rifle. It just looks out of place and stupid on a CG, and all it is Hasbro looking to save some coin by using the same gun with them that they can get away with on another character. That's my $0.02 and no one else has to like it, to me it makes sense, and much like arse holes I'm entitled to mine (my opinion that is ![]() ![]()

I hate the hollowed out backpack...that just screams lame.
They could've at least put a dummy panel over part of it so the hollowness doesn't stick out so bad.
