I just won it on eBay!!!
Always wanted it... got it for $31 + shipping, which I think is pretty good based off of what I've seen. Looks pretty complete too... Could someone in the know take a peak at it and let me know? Purely froma price standpoint, I went with the PIT. I'd love a terrordrome or a flagg, but honestly, they'd just be too much money I think. Or corners would be cut to produce them. So, I go with a doable piece that can both be cool and affordable. The PIT.

I would love see them all again eventually,
i have the flagg and the t.d (tds not even close to complete though) but when i had the joe hq when i was a kid it had so much playablity i would pick that again! My personal opinon- i still think they should do modular style playsets that all go togther eventually do like 6 smaler pcs a year per side and two larger pcs money stays down overall as does risk------- look at the dvds packs we went nuts instead of a small weapon though and a dvd give us a stockade with 2 repaints and an exclusive next a cobra throne room with a cc. Repaint and a couple cgs with exclusive paint scheme(ie chrome up the silver on a cg)14.99 price point for smaller sets and 29.99 for the bigger ones when its all said and done we have a very close to the first one------------- joe hq---- and a sweet cobra base ----you just couldnt do the terror drome that way or the flagg evn doc r u listening hasbro? Cool story man!
NSP Quote:
As I said in my thread, I vote for Terror Drome simply cause i still have my original Flagg.
Out of all the Joes I had, this is the only thing I kept. It has very sentimental value to me. During the time it came out, we were not exactly well off money wise. of course, during the early 80's, alot of people were having some problems, mainly due to the savings and loan scandal which is why we were hurting. Well, one day my mom had called up to my friend's house and TOLD me to come home. She was waiting at the front door, mad. She told me to clean my room right this minute. I went in and there in my room, was the Flagg in all it's glory. The box was vibrant and HUGE. I stood there with my mouth gapped wide open. I knew we didn't have money, but she went out and got me something I REALLY wanted. I have always appreciated it for what it was and never took it for granted. To this day, she can't believe I still have it. |

I voted for the Drome, though my dream set is not on the list, and that would be the Silent Castle/COBRA Temple from Marvel #21 and "The MASS Device."
But I am all for the Flagg IF they do both a Joe and COBRA aircraft carrier! |

The 1st GI Joe head qaurters for me and the Terror Drome.I agree the TD would be expensive but hey we already have a firebat.I am not a fan of the ROC PITT,a more formal playset would have been better.
