Sadly, no. It's the Forces of Valor Stryker which is an APC currently in deployment with the U.S. Forces. Google it, really sweet vehicle.
It's the replacement of the M113 which was very controversial as the M113 was much more protective of it's cargo (people) and the tracks are more superior than wheels. |

No kidding, you would think they would at least try to get more of these out as they seem to be selling well on the after market.
I chose not to buy these as well as the helicpoters when I had the chance for what reason I have NO idea. But by the time I decided to go ahead and pick them up, it was too late. :( Camper: i'm not sure if you were kidding or not.. but it's the 1/18 transport unit stryker, not the skystryker

I wish bbi would continue manufacture of the F-18 and F-16 jets. I know I'd buy several of them if they were $30 each, instead of $300 that they're going for on ebay.
The forces of valor figures at target are pretty cool.. i haven't seen the stryker, only a handful of the m1a1 tanks. |

They were on target's website briefly at $30.00. In stores too if you could find them. Totally missed that train.

I have most of the modern era BBI and 21st Century 1/18 scale stuff. I am so looking forward to the Stryker, I hope it makes it to retail. I agree, these companys need to stay afloat they make some of the best stuff around and as far as modern era goes what they have now is just the tip of the iceburg in regards to what they could do. I was holding my breath for a 1/18th F-14, after that guy/group in Japan made them last year. I guess now I just hope they don't go under.

Yeah too bad they couldn't team up with hasbro and work out some deal, bringing more realism to the toyline. Then we could get official cobra hummers, hueys, artillery pieces and armored veihcles, with great detail.
Could you imagine an AAV (a real warthog).

That stinks about 21st Century Toys going the way of the Titanic.
I have a closet full of their products. Bummer. PS.... Keep us posted if that 1:18 Stryker makes its way to retail or online vendors? |
