I got one of those off of E-Bay. These figs walked out of the factory without the glasses before they were carded. I think they look better in person. The likeness to the actress looks good.

Can you post comparison shots to other 25th figures. I know the movie Baroness is bigger than the boxset version as I've seen comparison pics somewhere.
I've seen this upclose too & her face looks chubby. |

Has anyone noticed that the toy oufit is nothing like the trailer still shot images of her movie outfit? Especially that belt. That belt makes her look like pilgrim Baroness coming over on the Mayflower.

I wonder after the movie comes out if Hasbro will make tweeks & changes in terms of improvements to the movie figures as they have done over the course of the 25th line. Like they have done now with the Hall of Heroes wave coming out. Hasbro did the same thing with the Transformers movie toys and I find myself, like a sucker, buying the improved versions to have that perfect definitive version of each character.

With her shades on she looks... hmmm... well, she looks like the blue Baroness painted all in black. And without the shades she looks like V from V for Vendetta. LOL. Doesn't matter though; the new 5 pack Baroness makes it all good. *shrugs*

I got mine today. I like it. Yeah the first time you look at it, Baroness looks like a Water head but the more you look at it the better it looks. I am trying to find the accessories to my Guru-Planet Anastacia and put her glasses on Baroness to see how it looks. I'll try to post pictures as soon as I find it.

Wow. Even more signifigant changes to the original character concept developed for the film. Couldn't they at least keep the Cobra insignia red color?
They have to strip Gijoe mythos, design and history so much, for what purpose? Millions of fans already know the characters from its 20 year plus inception. I don't see why everything has to be altered, made more mainstream, stripped of it's original essence and globalized/broaded for branding. Thumbs down! |
