Is it just me or are a majority of g.i.joe fans these days collecting more newer figures than the older ones. If so thats sad..... I think everyone needs to go back to their roots, start boycotting Hasbro for making these sorry lame remakes of figures and vehicles. anything made past the year 1994 is not even worth my time. Honestly i would rather start collecting toe-nail clippings.

I think the 25th figures are hands-down better than any before them. I don't exactly like all the distribution problems, but the figures themselves are ace.

in that case, i'll trade you all of my current nail clippings, and the rights to all future clippings, for a Clear Wraith. i'll even throw in a Lobotomaxx.

Hmm... I'm gonna go ahead and have to sort of... disagree with you on that... yeeeaahhh..... ummm....
OFF TOPIC: NAME THE MOVIE! ON TOPIC: Yes, because THIS little pre-94 gem epitomizes the glory days of Hasbro... PS: Are you intentionally trying to draw fire?

Anyway, Welcome to the Tank, BTW.
I collect from all lines, not just ARAH or Modren Era. Each has it's strengths and weaknesses, but I love them all.

This thread is ridiculous... The 25th line makes my old ARAH figures look like "The Corps!".

Let me start off by saying that I am a vintage ARAH man through and through. I MUCH prefer the old figures in every way to the 25th. That said, Hasbro has done a great job with the 25th line (excluding distribution), especially with the totally redesigned vehicles. The Ghost Hawk blew me away! It is absolutley amazing and it integrates wonderfully with the vintage ARAH. This can be said for really all the vehicles so far in the 25th. I have bought many, many of them to army build my forces and will continue to do so. The 25th figs, while amazing, do not hold my interest for long. I have bought most of them so far for my son (who is 9 months old). He won't get them for a number of years, but I am excited to give them to him when the time comes. In closing, vintage ARAH will always have my heart, but I am hoping that the 25th line will win my son's.

personally, I like to the newer ones only because if I drop my modern Firefly, his heels dont shatter in three pieces, sure some of the new ones look like crap( Shipwreck) but at least they can stand getting stepped on. ( I am still looking for that chunk of Firefly's heel).

Come on now, that's uncalled for. The vintage are awesome and so are the 25th.
