Other than the SKY STRIKER, this was one of the coolest jets that really went above and beyond with detail and fun interaction. The bright colors of the launchers and the landing gear did nothing but a disservice to this cool plane. Ace looked cool as hell and the cockpit actually lit up although it would have been nice to see more detail other than a light. The cockpit canopy was really dark, guess hence the light. It had alternating left/right wing tip lights. The projector showing a targeted jet was cool and the sounds were cool too. The flip down handle on a big jet was actually quite welcome, at least to me it was. The tail fin was huge but really other than the missile launchers, that was the only piece to be attatched. Also, she was a two seater, that's always a big plus.
The detail on the skin of the aircraft was very cool and the aircraft itself had some heft, you got your money's worth. YOJOE.COM | Ghoststriker X-16 I would gladly buy this if Hasbro put it out again. Last edited by SgtMajor; 02-21-2009 at 09:54 AM.. |

Bbi will probably re-release their F-16 before Hasbro trots out the Ghoststriker

The A's were Henderson's first and favorite team, so much so that he returned three times and wanted to return a fourth so he could retire in green and gold.

Maybe, depends on a toned down color scheme and fair price.

I loved it! always wanted one as a kid. though I'd prefer to have it w/ realistic missiles and maybe a smaller projector. cool concept but waaaaaaaaaaaay to big.

I got one about 10 years ago. I recently started doing a repaint of it, with the missles being white and half the body a dark grey.

I just looked that up on yojoe.com and i would care less if they remade that, looks like something they made for battle corps and just slapped a set of joe stickers on it.

It would be cool, but it's NEVER gonna happen.

I'm not interested in something in lieu of a Skystriker. I have seen some seriously bad-ass Raptor/skystriker customs here on the 'tank and would prefer that to this vehicle anyday. Not to take away from the Ghost Striker, but I'm just not that into it.

I don't mind it, I'd like to see it return, one of the last vehicles I should have picked up before Joe ended in '95. I should have picked it up in Xmas '93 instead of those damn Space Brigade armored figures.
I'd love to see it in more subdued colors with an awesome tail logo. |
