Okay, so I opened the 'Nok two-pack this evening (Ripper and Torch), and I have several questions. First off, how the hell is Torch suppose to hold his titular weapon (meaning his torch) in that oddly positioned right hand!? He was given Gung Ho's forearms, and the right hand on Gung Ho is so oddly positioned, that nothing will friggin stay in it for long! Unfortunately, Torch has now inherited the same design flaw as GH. In other words, unless you plan to have him hold his torch aimed at the ground (if you can get him to hold the thing at all), you're screwed. Also, because the cable is a tough plastic, you can't put his torch in his left hand without switching out the tough plastic tube for a more flexible version, so that it will stretch the length.
Second; does Ripper's jaws-of-life weapon attach to his backpack? The JOL seems to have a 'clip' shape on the back that would suggest just this very thing, but I can't seem to figure out how it goes on. Any help with these questions/issues is appreciated! |

Okay, I'll try to help...
As far as Torch and his Gung-ho-like properties goes, I had to cut my Gung-Ho's arm holes in his vest a little bigger. That helped greatly. I can't tell if Torch has a similar vest as I've not seen one in person. I would suggest doing the "Flash mod" with his torch cord as well. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2950 If Ripper's backpack is the same in the comic pack as the original, then there's a part where his Jaws of life will attach to the pack. I'll need a pic of the comic pack backpack to see if it's the same. But here's where it attaches on the old school backpack...

Thanks, Xerofall! Yeah, that Ripper backpack looks the same. The attachment piece on the JOL doesn't fit the backpack w/out having to force something, but I may give it another try based on your pic.
Not sure if I'm ready to 'mod' my Torch forearm just yet. Perhaps if I can find another pack or get my hands on some extra figures, where I can trade arms. Anyway, thanks! |

Here's my question. Is Breaker supposed to have something to attach his "Gum" with. I got the "Bubble" and that's it, and there is no hole in his mouth for it to attach to even if it came with another piece.
How does the gum attach?????

Here's a pic for reference (for Breaker's gum at least):

OK That makes sense. I thought it attached to his mouth some how.

Yeah- as you know by now- the gum attaches over the end of his mic piece. It's actually quite ingenious, as its proximity to his mouth holds the gum in place and from nearly all angles makes it look like Breaker is blowing a big 'ol bubble.
Moreover; I really like that Hasbro went the extra mile with Breaker. They could have just made a generic looking Joe in dress greens with his comm set for the helmet, but they went one extra step to make him more distinctive and recognizeable. Love that. |
