typo, I mean chase figure. I'm new to collecting and see this all the time listed. What does it mean? bump

Chase figures are usually packed fewer than other figures in a case assortment and are considered very rare, hence the term "chase" since you literally chase after them...

Dude, bumping is generally not a good thing.
A "Chase" figure is the one fig in a wave that is underpacked. Example- Wave X ships in cases of 50. There are 10 figures in wave X. So a case contains 5 each of figures 2-8, 9 of figure 1, and only one figure 10. Since a store is likely to only get one case of each wave, that figure #10 is gonna go fast, so you have to "chase" him. This also applies to figures that are not short-shipped but are wildly popular so they go fast, including cool variants and crown favorites... Hope this helps. Please don't bump |
