awesome!! I still remember the Army Ants commercial theme song! as per the discussion at hand, I dont really understand the point of the Combat Heroes or any of the other lines that fit into this category.. reminds me too much of fisher-price and playskool stuff... I def. dont like that these are more readily available than other Joe stuff in the stores...

Dude, come to dodge city and you can stock up on these stupid suckers! The pegs are full and so are the mighty mugs.
I don't know anyone who collects these funny looking things and for the matter, i would like to know how hasblo came up with the idea for these. What grieves me the most is how wally-world stocks up on or maybe they just get whatever hasblo sends them but we have the store full of these combat heroes and mighty mugs but we don't have any real figures. How is it that we don't have any new figures of 25th and we have never even received any resolute figures, yet combat heroes are over-flowing the shelves. Hasbro needs to figure out how to effectively market their wares. Thanks

Despite the clogged shelves of Marvel, TF, Star Wars and now Joes "Heroes", Hasbro sees some reason to continue producing these things. They must sell better outside of Kentucky. |

I was at wal-mart today and this is the only joe item they had, in extreme quantities.
Personally, I think it was a waste. Little kids cannot relate to the designs because there's no toon backing it like the marvel stuff has. The plastic used for these could have been used on our Zandars, Zaranas, Footlooses, and Air-Tights, etc... Although, a lot of the children of the modern era joe collector love these things, so they do have some benefit, as sorta a starter kit for the joe padawans us joe jedi will raise well. |

This sort of thing better suites the SMURFS, SNORKS, AND TMNT. Not G.I.JOE.
With respect to the economic troubles of the time, what is hasbro thinking? They work so hard in producing these fine action films but when it comes to fully realizing, marketing, and distributing their figures, they fall flat on their face but they can push these stupid baby toys out like a playdoh fun factory. It is frustrating for a guy in a town and area where it is so friggin hard to find 25th joe stuff and this crap makes it to the shelves. Bloody annoying i say!

If there were sets where the characters didnt have weapons (I know that might defeat the purpose of GI Joe) I would have picked them up for my neice and nephew because my Brother and Sister inlaw wont allow their toys to have guns I couldnt. WHich is a shame because they LOVE the super heroes line (and those dont have guns).
