DISCLAIMER: If you don't like Snake Eyes and/or have something negative to say about another Snake Eyes figure being released, then please just leave this topic now. I simply don't wish to waste time with whiners, trolls, or people being jerks just for the sake of being a jerk.
I was surprised to see this coming. I thought Hasbro was no longer focused on modern releases of ARAH figure designs. Being that this figure will not hit shelves until wave 4, my fear is that this figure will not make it to retail if the movie bombs... or even worse, will see extremely scarce distribution. With the draw of this figure, I bet scalpers are gonna have a field day with this one. Before adding a quick reply to say "Nu-uh! POC was the ULTIMATE Snake Eyes!" Realize that no matter which one we perceive as the ultimate SE for our individual collections, Hasbro deemed this one the ultimate Snake Eyes, so I titled the topic accordingly. See the pic below. I personally have always wanted a modern version of this Snake Eyes that is accurate to the 1985 card art., not the 85 figure. This one is a near perfect representation. Here is the ’85 card art: For those who think this isn’t much different than the 25th versions, here they are side by side: (25th single card, Retaliation ultimate, 2009 5 pack) For those who cannot see the differences between the new version and the 25th figures: 1) Much better head sculpt including 1985 accurate visor, a VAST improvement over both older versions, especially the five pack version 2) working holster 3) working knife sheath (and it isn't HUGE) 4) Seriously improved bandoleer (over 5 pack version) 5) Correct footwear sculpt 6) Ankle pouches (instead of house arrest bands or none at all) 7) Improved wrist articulation 8) Improved ankle articulation 9) Improved dart launcher sculpt 10) Less bulky bicep pouch sculpt 12) Added clothing details (seems, etc)

That is why when this figure is ready on BigBadToyStore or SmallJoes.com; I will order them from these online retailers! I'm not playing that game with these damn scalpers! Paying $40.00 to $60.00 for one figure is ridiculous!

I hear ya. This is a great SE and I will definitely buy one if I can. I really have a bad feeling starting at Wave 3. First off this line is coming out at the worst time, right after Christmas are you serious!?! No retailers start stocking toys of any kind until May or later. I know this is a major motion picture release so we'll see the line at the major retailers but Wave 1 and 2 are gonna flood the market and peg warm at the already skittish about Joe product to begin with retailers. I am not pushing the panic button yet but I will be very surprised if we see Wave 3 or beyond. I for one will not be holding my breath. And I say even if Wave 3 or beyond make it out to retail it'll be a spotty regionally based release where some areas may get multiple cases and some may see one or none at all, much like POC Wave 5 or the last ROC Wave... I hope I am wrong but from getting back into Joe with the 25th line and seeing what has happened in my area and reading all the doom and gloom here on the Tank I don't expect Hasbro and the retailers to meet our expectations at all.

Unfortunately the online retailers price by demand and you can expect to pay at least $15 to $20 for each.

I think he looks bad but the figure could be good as custom base. The articulation has me worried though and the thighs look like the Marvel line pop on type.

I have always seen figures @ retail no mater what the distribution . Also @ wholesale pricing. So I say wait if u can . If u can't pay . Even super hard to get stuff always cools off , so I'm hopeful
