[QUOTE=meandnooneelse;4114173]Wow, really? I guess everybody is different. The HOH version it loos like a total mess to me. The overly long legs and house arrest bands being the obvious glaring issues. The '85 figure & card art featured a holster and knife on his legs which the HOH figure did not have, and then there's the funky 25th head sculpt that looks like the visor is crushing his face. This one beats it hands down for me... but to each his own I guess.
I agree with this 100%. HoH Snake Eyes was simply not accurate. I would say the 5pack SE was far better and this new one is miles ahead of that. |

Does the HoH version have laced boots for feet?

Yes, and although I do like the idea of Snake Eyes wearing combat boots over Kung Fu shoes (I don't know the proper name for the type of shoes) combat boots are not accurate to the 1985 card art or figure, and they look totally out of place with the legs on the HOH version.

I think this is a great figure, there is no doubt about that. But in terms of detail, wave 3 poc se dominates this figure to a whole other level. I guess it is on how you look at it too. If your someone who wanted the 85 se as accurate as possible, then yea ill go ahead and say this is a nice update but it is really not that differant then the 5 pack or HOH beside a few minor details.

The custom in the center looks best of all....better even than the upcoming version!
My main problem with the HoH version was the ribbed sweater collar. My main problem with the new version is the raised piping that is part of the sculpting for the Cobra Diver figure and NOT Snake Eyes. It seems like Hasbro has still never had a newly-tooled body for a modern v2 Snake Eyes...every single one they've given us has used parts from other figures. This new "ultimate" version is no exception. Just another kit-bashed repaint. Look at the body on it...all wrong. Diver's suit details sculpted onto a lanky thin torso. Long thin arms and legs with obvious cut joints. Your custom is heads and shoulders better than this. Despite the label Hasbro gives it, it's another slapped-together repaint. |

Looks like a great SE! The only time I hated repeated charcters are when they were just repaints, I think the last few SE figures have been great. |
