Eh... I'd think the silver is a more likely option. The white probably is only the result of lacking better colors for the comics.

can we ask hasbro if they can make blowtorch, ripcord and mutt w/junkyard?

Here's the look I think I was leaning towards the most (especially since he doesn't have the shoulder, pads which matches Gung-Ho's arms).

Yeah... looks a chrome finish to me. Again, Zartan, a man allergic to sunlight... exposed skin, light reflecting chrome armor. And he appears to have a healthy tan too.
I realize none of it has to really make any sense since it's a toy of a fictional character, but come on... |

I still need to touch up and tidy up the paint job a little, but the figure turned out better than I thought it would.

Thanks! I like this version of Zartan a lot more than what Hasbro made (I know the exposed skin doesn't make sense on the character, but this version captures the '80's punk/biker gang appearance that made Zartan and the Dreadnoks so cool)!

Going off of what people said (just on this site) in the favorite year poll, I'd say 1984 is a year where just about every figure is immensely popular and could be redone by Hasbro.
