I've posted these before in other threads, but I wanted to make one so I can come back and update it...
I used to keep my growing collection at work, I was even featured on CNN. However it got too large and too distracting and I had to take it all home... it sat in boxes in the basement for months until my wife started to accept my love for GI Joe and gave me my own room. Before: Plain, empty, spare bedroom... Now...

I still need to run the comic books along the ceiling and get some book cases for the vehicles and my customs...
Still a work in progress...

MY GAWD MAN!!!! So did you actually get any work done with a cubicle like that or did you get fired and thats why you have them at home now?
At any rate, it makes my "Joe room" (spare room) look a little messy. In my defense, I do have a ton of vintage 80's Joe stuff as well as the new stuff and we do actually use that room for a guest room, so I can't completely take it over. I am impressed that you actually opened the TRU packs and the Desert/Arctic packs but put the figures in the boxes and displayed them standing upright in them. They look pretty cool like that! I may do that too seeing as I too opened all mine but saved the boxes. |

joes can brighten anyroom, jailcell to a action man hq!
you should know, there's no non-conformity in the cubicle farm . i would think it would be one more incentive to come to work and be surrounded by the things you love. was it deemed distractive by you or someone else? |

One of my favorite things ever is that little G.I. Joe Logo paperweight thing (that came with the original 5 pack) that plays the G.I. Joe theme song whenever you press the star. LOL. If I heard that playing in the office somewhere off in the distance I would immediately go running to find the source. LOL.
Your room is nice. I like the shelves with the free-standing Joes the best, and especially how you posed Snake Eyes w/ Timber. |

Awesome set up. I also like the fact that you kept all of your packages and use them in your display...Very creative...

I bet you go in there and meditate. I have a room similar to that. I sometimes just sit in the middle as my mind wonders off. On the other hand, my wife gets stressed in my room, thinking of all the money I "wasted"

Your room looks really good. I like how organized everything is.
I don't think you are just starting it, but its going to look sweet when there's gi joe stuff covering all that white. |
