Has anyone else gotten very badly packed G.I. Joes from HTS? In the last 2 months 6 out of 7 packages from HTS has not had any packing at all. The figures where just thrown in the box. I even got reused box the retail stores get their figures in that was crushed. With the high shipping costs they charge they could buy some bubble wrap.
Does anyone know who to call about this problem? I called HTS, but they don't handle the shipping. |

i've ordered form them a few times and never had anything damaged. i'm not a MOC/MIB collector, though, so it take a great deal of damage to make me care. i have been a bit underwhelmed with the amount of time it takes them to ship orders, though. i've made orders for all 'in stock' items before that took almost two weeks until i got notification that the packages had been shipped. and then it took another week+ to receive them.

Hmm, are you sure you're calling HTS and not just Hasbro? Because it should be HTS's responsibility since they're selling the merchandise. Even if they are outsourcing the handling to a vendor, they're the ones who should be stepping up to make things right in the end.

HTS is really only useful if you plan to open items. If you get what you ordered, that is. It's a shot in the dark to deal with them. Might get lucky, might not. Gamble, man, gamble.

I think during busy times of year the bad luck increases. I'd guess they run low on the normal shipping materials so just use what they can.

I have ordered from HTS a number of times... All but the last 4 packages looked as if a monkey just plopped the figures in a box and put a bubble inside. Lucky for me I open almost everything I buy from HTS so, not really a big deal for me if there damagedwhen they arrive.... as long as they arrive.

if you really want to complain about the packing just order the graded ones. you do realize the ones in the store are not perfect either (i mean lots of them are bent etc). or order through bbts with that collector upgrade fee to make sure they are moc.

The whole point is not if I'm opening them or not. It is that HTS is charging a high shipping cost and not packing it correctly. If I'm going to pay their shipping costs they can at least pack the box correctly. The boxes I got had no packing materials in them at all. |
